CC Applications

Ditch Lining

CC can be rapidly unrolled to form a ditch or channel lining. It is significantly quicker, easier and less expensive to install than conventional concrete ditch lining and requires no specialist plant equipment. CC can be laid at a rate of 200sqm/hr by 3 man team.

Bund Lining

CC provides a cost-effective alternative to poured and sprayed concrete for lining secondary containment bunds.
CC improves the impermeability and reduces the maintenance of earth bunds caused by slump, erosion and animal damage.

Pipeline Portection

CC can be used as a coating for overland or underwater pipeline protection, providing a superior tough rock shield.
CC will set underwater and provide negative buoyancy.

Concrete Remediation

CC can be used to rapidly reline and refurbish existing concrete structures suffering form environmental degradation and cracking.
CC joints can be thermally welded or sealed with mortar to provide a durable concrete liner to effectively reduce water loss.

Slope Protection

CC can be used to stabilise and protect slopes as a replacement for shotcrete and steel mesh. It is typically faster install. Lower cost and requires less specialist plant equipment. CC is an effective means of erosion control, rock fall containment and structural stabilisation.

Mining Applications

CC can be used as an alternative to brattice cloth, plaster board or concrete blockwork as a fast, cost effective means of constructing blast and vent wall structures. Other applications include spall lining.waterproofing, column wrapping and drainage.

Cable Protective Covering

CC can be installed in-line with existing cable laying equipment at a rate of 1000m/day, to provide protection against impact damage. CC 13 (200mm wide) has been tested to BS 2484:1985 (Appaendix A)

Other Applications

Other applications include use as a general replacement for shotcrete, retaining walls, scour protection, culverts, blinding layers, weed inhibiting, water tanks, flood defences, tunnel lining architectural and design applicatins…
